Not a Castle

This game was made by me and five other people, two other programmers and three graphical artists during our second year at university. The game was entered in Swedish Game Awards but did unfortunately not win.

The basic gameplay is to buy units and send them on one of three lanes who then become autonomous and march towards the other castle fighting any opposing units on the same lane. The player can also expand their kingdom by building towers and towerupgrades on designated markers.

My part in the game is mostly related to AI and levelsetup. The units use the AI libraries Recast and Detour to generate and walk on the navmesh, but also to manage crowd- navigation. The game uses the open-source 3D engine Nebula 3 which has been managed by people on LTU- Campus Skellefteå.
